Question Eibach Pro Kit

Hi!

I know this is a newbie question. I tried searching but I coudn't find an answer to my question.

I want to know if you guys who are using Eibach springs to lower your 03 TL-S are also using the Eibach camber kits (front and back). If you are using another brand I want to know what they are and how much they cost. Tell me where you got them too.

I want to lower and add the OEM body kit to my car, obviously.

Thanks in advance!

Clarke

You will have to be VERY careful if you lower the car with a body kit. I know someone that has the Comptech springs and he has to be careful not to rub the oem front air dam, so with a body kit front air dam, you will rub badly if you are not extremely careful.

Good luck

PS: I don't know about the camber kit. I do know if you buy the CT springs, no camber kit is needed. I would think twice about getting the Eibach drop. If you use the CT springs and have them installed an a dealer, your warranty will not be affected. If you use Eibach or any other springs, most dealers are gonna give you trouble if you have any problems with your suspension.

I guess I can go with the Comptech one's then and have it installed at the Acura dealer.

Does anyone have the camber kit? with comptech?

Thanks!

hmmm, even after looking at comtech's products etc. I still want to go Eibach all the way with the camber kits and all.

Also how come their is a lot of difference in price when comparing the Eibach and Comptech's camber kit when they are all made by SPC? I looked at tirerack and this website. How about another online store who sells these products so we can compare prices.

Bmw911t I can take your word for it, but can someone else verify this SPC camber deal? Also the SPC is rated for only 1.5 inch drop will it still work with the Eibach pro-kit which is 2.1 and 1.7?

How much did wheel wherehouse charge for the install?

Thanks guys!

I was debating b/w the eibach pro-kit(pretty cheap on ebay) vs comptech. I just put my OEM bodykit on 2 weeks ago and was trying to park at this club, DREAM, in DC this past weekend. I tried to make it up a somewhat steep incline and scraped the bottom of the front lip on driver's side.
I had made it up the incline to this parking lot a few months back before the kit was on without a problem. This time I did have 4 others in the car but I thought I had enough room and I didn't realize how little clearance I had. I mean it was the main parking lot so I figured a lot of cars could get up there. I'm afraid that if I get the drop(eibach or comptech), I'll be scraping the sh!t out the front lip evertime I go to work(I have to go over b/w 1-5 speedbumps each way depending on which entrance I take!).

The SPC is a company that mke the camber kits for many cars like the Ingalls. The Comptech & Eibach are buy it form SPC and add the trademark on the box.And they can mark the prices that they like.I know the Comptech is more expensive than the Eibach & SPC.I also brougt this kit from Eibach. And that is two combo with TL. One is let you drop up to 1.5",the another can up to 3".The rear kit #67090(-2 to +4) are the same just the front are difference. So I can use it with prokit. You just need to know how many neg camber degree(/ \) at your wheel (my car have front l -0.48 r-0.5,rear l-1.93 r -1.73) and choose you kit to correct it are ok.You can search at this forum to take the info.

numbo,
have you tried to trim the rearplastic? I have 18x8's (+45) and 235/40's. No rubbing , people or not. With a little time, you can eliminare it period as long as you tire /wheel package is reasonable. It looks ok from the pics.
