Question eibach and comptech springs the same?

I was at a tire shop and the mechanic insisted that the Comptech springs for the TL were actually made by Eibach. He said that I should buy the Eibachs because the Comptechs cost more just for the name. Is this true?

He also said I might need to buy an expensive camber kit. Did anyone need a camber kit for their installs?

Eibach is made for the Accord and Comptech is made for the TL. TL is heavier than the Accord so if you get the Eibach, it will sit lower than what they tell you due to the extra weight on the TL.

Hmm. maybe my mechanic friend doesn't know what's going on. He insisted that Comptech and Eibach springs are exactly the same, but apparently they're not based on your testimony. I trust you guys more. TL freaks should know what's up.
