EGR port cleaning
So I decided that I would clean the EGR port today. I have done everything as per the directions on port cleaning in the DIY section. So far no problems...except that after you take the manifold off the engine, the engine part of the intake is just as dirty as the manifold, including the EGR conduct!
How to clean that?
Thanks!

the manifold is removed from the engine - so rinsing is easy
for the engine block side, have a shop vac running.. pointed at the crud you want to get off
Use screwdriver or scraper to poke it loose and vac up
better to remove.. than drop or blow crud further into the line
doesnt have to be perfect
