EBC Green stuff!! SCREW AXXIS!!!

As we all know, the factory pads sucked, peroid.

First swap was to the metal masters. Decent initial bite, but didnt do so well when really hot. Brake dust was more than OEM...

Then there was the Ultimates. What garbage. so-so initial bite, but when you got them hot they did a great job. Problem with them was that the dust was unreal. 10 miles and the wheels were dirty. And i was not nice dust either. It was clumpy and destructive to my wheels. Not to mention that they were not very consistant. Braking from 80, the second they reach a temp threshhold, it went from lite braking to slamming on the brakes. like someone flipped a damn light switch. Not to mention they burned faster than anything ive ever seen....

Now theres EBC Green Stuff. These pads fucking rock. Almost no dust. Half OEM. And its nice harmless evenly spread dust. 4 days i didnt have to clean the wheels, and that was with an average of 50 miles a day. As for power, they have a fantastic initial bite, and as they heat up, they gradualy increase their bite. The brake pedal feels consistant and linear now, like brakes should.

If you dont have these pads, frikin get them. Paid $88 for front and $78 for rear at a local PepBoys.

Just to keep this on topic, I have the EBC's on my car now, and will never go to any other pad. They do exactly what they say they do, Bite like hell with virtually no dust in the process.

Everyone tells me that Hawks are awesome also, but I just can't justify not using EBC's since they've done such a great job.

is it easy to just switch out the OEM pads for new ones, or is it best to have a pro do it?

Very easy to swap brake pads yourself. its only 2 bolts. brakes were designed to be removed quickly for maintenance....

EBC pads with OEM rotora should be fine, but it would eat the OEM rotors a lot faster than the aftermarket stuff...

Cheapest place i know of online is Tirerack.com..... i dont know anyone else that sells them online for cheaper....

Longtime no posty for me!

I have the front pads and rotors, too...It took two orders from TireRack to get the pads right as the first ones--and seconds, were off and I had to shave them down, but truly, much less dust and better bite...
