EBC brake pads
i just got my rear EBC pads and i was curious...
the "nipples" in the red circles... is that what needs to be shaved/smoothed out?
what the hell is that metal clip for and why does only one pad have it?
which pads go on what side of the rotor?
lastly... damn, these things are small as fuck.

The nipples shouldn't need to be shaved off. The clip is the 'squealer' - when the pad wears down too far and it's getitng close to time to replace, that clip will contact the rotor as you brake causing a 'squeal' to get your attn so you'll know it's time to replace the pads. It's only on one since they're assuming the pads will wear evenly. As for which one goes on which side, just match up with the old ones you're taking off.
