Easy maintence DIYs?
hey guys, i like doing these DIY stuff and i like to do whatever i can to keep my car smooth and new. 94k miles now, so maybe time for new coolant and other fluids.
can you guys/girls tell me some DIY stuff to do? pictures would be great w/ the step by step instructions, since i dont have an owner's manual. so far, the only DIY thing i know how to do is an oil change... which gives you the level of "easiness" i am at.
my tranny fluid is already changed since i replaced my tranny a month ago. you guys/girls have any other suggestions? i am thinking of spark plugs, but i heard its kinda hard. plus i am always low on cash so that doesn't help much plus i do'nt want to mess anything up that will cause the check engine or any other light to flash which will cost me an arm and a leg just to have it diagnose.
btw, my car is at 94k and i never go to the dealership for those service things. so what things should i go do?

there's nothing really on that site for maintenance, i'm looking for stuff like... changing some of the fluids (steering, coolant, etc..). and other "maintenance stuff" - i.e. spark plugs.. does anybody have anything else that can help?

The best thing you can do if you wanted to DIY is get yourself a good service manual. I'd highly recommend you get one from Helms . They're not cheap (~$70), but it'll pay for itself once you start doing your own maintenance.
