Post Drooling Over the Lexus GS430

I know you are thinking about this one too. Lexus GS430 - 300hp! Sweet ride. I did some calculations in another post as follows:

1. 2001 Lexus GS430 with Mark Levinson Radio / Premium Package & 17" Tire & Wheel Upgrade is around $ 51,500 (MSRP).
2. Wishful thinking if Lexus can knock off $4K-$5K off the list price ($47,500).
3. 99TL Trade in with 30K miles - you can never get Kelleybluebook pricing with dealers, but for argument sake: $20K.

TOTAL: $27,500 (2001 Lexus GS430)

I hear that possibly the 2002 models will have maintenance covered just like BMW does now.

You can also get sport package versions of BMW's 530i for a little less or a 540i for more than this Lexus. However eventhough the BMWs look sweet too, they are not as reliable as Lexus and you need reliability when you pay this much for a car.

My wife tell me that the Lexus kind of looks like an old man's car, where as the BMW has a more younger person's look to it, but I can not deny the 300hp V8 and the pure perfection of quality of this car.

What a friggin hot car! Anyone own one on here in addition to their TL?

There are a couple of phat ones in SF, lowered, body kit, exhaust and huge rims! Don't know if they are GS300 or 400/430 tho.

I always wanted to have one especially the one they have in HK and Japan called the Toyota Aristo with 280HP, I think the same engine as the Supra Twin Turbo, sweet-a$$ ride!
