Driver's Side Vent Problem

My driver side left vent is always pointing upwards now, like it lost its stickiness for me to position it stationery up or down. How do I fix this?

Overtime it becomes loose, drop any sticky liquid in the joints and it will stay; like coke.

You can try putting a spot of elmers glue in the hindge to build up some tension. I wouldnt recommend coke in the event that the excess drips into the cracks of your dash.
