Driver's seat uncomfortable (2000TL)

Hey Friends:
I just got a used low mileage 2000TL last week. I was noticing that for a almost 30K car (when it was new) the fron seats especially the driver's are a bit of a disappointment.

Has anyone had issues with the driver's seat being uncomfortable? Hard to adjust? Harder on the left side where the airbag is? Any issue?

I'm trying every adjustment to get comfortable but I'll tell you for drives longer than an hour in LA traffic they are not the best.

Any suggestions?
I wonder if you can retrofit this model with TL-S seats? Anyone know the cost? Is it even possible?

Let me know what you all think or suggest.
Thanks to all.

This topic was on here more in the first 2yrs of the new TL design 99-00. The seat takes awhile to adjust & find the correct comfort level for yourself. When I purchased my 2000 TL almost 2yrs ago it took me about a week to get the seat adjusted for my comfort.
Whenever someone drives the car this only happens when I take it in for service. It takes me about a few drives to get it corrected agian. I just got the car back form the dealer today. I was having the drivers seat heater replaced & ofcourse the seat was out of adjustment for me. I will get it adjusted probaly tomorow. Once I adjust it i rarely move it except to slid the seat back or foward.
The tilt & height adjustment is more likely your problem. The seat bottom has to be position correctly for your comfort.

A TL-S seat would probably be more uncomfortable for you. They are stiffer and less cushy.

Well, I have the 2000 TL and I am 5 11.

I find it hard to adjust the seat to a comfortable position, too. But you will get use to it over time... I think our car doesn't provide me with enough knee room. I have non of the problem with the Bimmer and Audi (they do have the telescoping steering wheel thought)

But anyways, hopefully you can get use to it, cuz you gotta live with it anyways... unless you gonna get another car...
