Driver's seat loose

Hello all!

I must say first off, I am poured through all of your postings, and I have found alot of helpful directions on some of my repairs.

There is one thing that is bugging me that I was hoping that I could get some help on.

I have my drivers seat perfectly adjusted, but it rocks a little. Almost as if there is a bolt loose.

I am sure this can't be normal. any ideas? how do I get to the bolts to tighten them?

I have the same problem. Sometimes when it moves slightly, i hear a clicking sound as if two pieces of metal are hitting. I think i saw a thread a while ago about fixing this.

there are 4 bolts that hold the seats in. the bolts go through the frame of the car and are slightly exposed to the outside. its possible they have rusted to the point where they came loose, either from water/road salt/debris. i remember seeing my bolts being weathered a bit. move the seat forwards all the way to get to the rear bolts, they are under plastic tabs you pop out it think. move the seat all the way back to get the front bolts.

I just started having this problem too. I think it happened on a road trip to Boston. My friends kept using my seat and pulling it back so they could move around easier. Now sometimes when I step on the gas a little harder than usual, my body moves back and so does the seat.

very highly unlikely this is the issue. Its most likely the track or the motors for the track have a slight play in them. Mine has done this for a long time ever so slightly.

^ Probably not the bolts but it's easy to check them. 5 min. tops.
