So after many miles my seat is starting to show signs of aging. Where does one get acura seat leather and how hard is it to replace?
I want it to match as much as possible.
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Rob
PS - I have tan interior

Not terribly hard to do. Just make sure you disconnect the battery BEFORE you disconnect the Yellow airbag connector under teh seat.

Looking to fix a tear in my seat as well.
Anyone have experience with an upholstery shop? I was curious as to how much those cost on average. Here in Hawaii, I expect it to be higher then else where, but good to have some baseline to compare it with.

the leather will cost you less at a shop.. but will equal up to acura price after labor... average price in my area for 4 different shops was 4-500 a seat.
the only benefit is getting to choose your color or getting them dyed.
2 seats = 1k at a shop.. as well as from the dealer. but without labor at the dealer..

My seat seam tore at like 100k (after 6 years) it tore right on the seam, but I have a boney A$$. I was gonna ask my moms if she can sue it up 4 ME!
like kris said, its not hard to replace the leather. ive take it off before. and u have to work with it to get it on their nice and tight. warm up the leather, easier to work with.
