Driver Heated Seat Problem

hi fellas,

pretty new to the forum but have heeded to may advices offered on the board. I have a very stock 00 TL-p with a 4 year/48K extended warranty. within the past few weeks i have noticed that my seat warmer, the butt portion doesn't heat up as warm as the backrest. anyone else experience this? and does anyone know if it will be covered under the extended warranty.

yes this is a known issue among the Second Gen TL's. I have a TL-S right now, and have the exact same issue with it. It would appear as if the back portion of my heated seat is not working. This is a problem with the central heating unit going bad. I just bought the extended warranty for mine last weekend, and if I remember correctly, the heated seats ARE covered under the extended warranty.

Good luck with that!

what if your out of warranty? how much does it cost for the bottom portion on the drivers side. Is it something you can do on your own by just replacing the part?? if so, how much is the part..
