Door pillar chrome...

I keep seeing all of these threads about people sanding/painting/buffing their black door pillars because for some reason they like to start looking like crap after about 6-12 months. I was thinking about what if you chromed these two pieces between each door instead... anyone tried that? think it would be a good idea? shoot some suggestions my way

i think it depends on the color of the car, plus if u have chrome rims i dont think it would look bad. theres chrome trim all over the car so why not

IMO chrome belongs on 60's era and earlier muscle/classic cars and choppers NOT on an Acura TL, less chrome is better and that includes the rims too

Guys, my TL has he same issue after almost 5 years, black paint tarnished. Does anyone have a part # for those black door pillars? How difficult is to replace them?
