domelight?

domelight?

Anyone ever removed it?? If so how? I'm debating whether or not to install my flipdown monitor myself or pay and car audio shop to do it for me.

You can buy flipdown monitors w/a built-in dome light. As for installing it yourself..it doesn't seem too hard in my opinion. I suggest you find a DIY-tutorial, just in case you need some assistance.

There are 4 screws holding it up.. 2 in the sunglass holder and 2 by the lights. To take out the plastic over the lights just take a flathead and from the windshield. It will fall out...

umm you're talking about the map lights. He's talking about the dome light. Last time I messed with it, I think the dome light is only held in by two nuts or screws......

O sorry I read it wrong... Yeah hzm is right. Its held by 2 screws....

yeah id do it yourself if you know what you are doin..i work at a car audio shop..we charge about $125 and up to install them..so i would save the money if i were u...
