Dome light mod
I used the same idea as RelentlessOne, but I did the dome light first. I am going to do the courtesey lights this weekend but decided to do the dome last night. I found an online store (texascraft.com) that sells self-adhesive paper that is removeable. I went online and found this logo and printed it to the paper then cut the decal out after I placed it on the dome light cover. Pretty easy to do and looks cool on my parchment interior. Let me know what you guys think.

I hadnt driven it at night until tonight on the way home from work. There is light loss but that hould be fixed with the Super white LED I purchased. I think that it looks really cool at night and I will try to get a shot of that once I get my LED in (they ship monday). Thanks for the input. courtesey lights this weekend...what logo should I use????

well this weekend was spent doing absoluteley noithing except for my courtesey light mods. I went simple with just a "3.2". I am getting all of my super white LED's this week so light output should increase a bit. Thanks for all feedback!

Also just being a little nit-picky here but the "3.2" should be a little higher. Also why not "TL" instead of "3.2" ?

or better yet.. 3.2TL.
LED's are bright.. but still its alot less area for the light to shine through. shining out of just those small spaces in the lettering is not enough.. i guess the door mod would be cool, but the dome is alittle too much

Thanks for the input guys....I might redo the door ones with "3.2 TL' late ron this week or weekend. I dunno about the dome light cover. I do lose quite a bit of light but we will s ehow the LEDs do and i might just go back to a plain one or reverse the effect.(good idea???). Later guys

Check out the '38mm 6LED' or '39mm 9LED' dome lights. I believe these two will fit fine if you do a bit of wedging up there... I took a ruler and measured the space allowance to be about 36mm without wedging.
I currently have the 31mm 4LED myself and found it to be much shorter than stock even though I followed the replacement bulb # (3175). Also wished it could be brighter, but got to love the blueish-white glow! I plan to get the longer bulbs once my 02/03 tails come when I can pick up 2 turn signals too.
Here's a pic of how it looks (true-to-life color):

thanks subtledreamer. I ordered lots of LED for my interior form autolumination this past weekend.. they shipped out monday so should be here soon. I go the super white on all of them. thanks for your feedback......do you think a reverse effect on the dome light would look good or not (paint the logo and leave the rest unpainted???) lemme know what you think.

imo, I would leave the dome alone (for the sake of having max light output) and do the "reverse effect" on the door lights with either "TL" or the Acura logo. i think that would look better than "3.2" because it doesnt mean anything to 99.9% of other people, while TL and the logo would to more.
