Post Does the S stand for Saves gas?

Still breaking in my car - 400 miles so far, and it is beginning to loosen up.

Took 250 miles for brakes to bed in.

I have noticed much better mileage - at least 1 mpg average-25.6 mpg in suburban driving.

Must be the added torque.

Very impressive for a car with this much power.

Have not been able to see if the 290 horses I have can spank BMW's. I am itchin' to.

I called up the Acura plant in Ohio and some guy told me the "S" stood for "Snappy".

He said the marketing guys thought it would be smart to make a "Snappy" car thus the "S" was born.

I told him it stood for "Stupid" since that's what he sounded like on the phone.
