Does NE1 know what the minimum rotor thickness R?

I've changed my rotors several times now and each time I bought new rotors but kept the older ones. The old ones are still in great shape and finally found a place that can turn/machine them for short $$. Does anyone know what the minimum thickness is?

Please don't respond saying buy new rotors and thanks in advance.

That should be something that the place that turns them should be able to look up. I dont have my manual here to look up.

Its stamped onto the center hub of each rotor-
use a digital caliper to measure thinnest point and then allow for shaving smooth beyond that
Most rotors of quality can take 1 resurfacing- the OE parts- not so much
Ask the shop what they do as final pass or surfacing
Some do another slow speed cut smooth while others add a cross-hatch cut to help
bed the pads right away
Remember- you get what you pay for!

As far as I know you can only turn it once. the second time it will not meet the specification to be considered safe.

Front Disc:
Standard 27.9 - 28.1mm
Max Refinishing Limit - 26.0mm
Runout Service Limit - 0.10mm

Rear Disc:
Standard 8.9 - 9.1mm
Max Refinishing Limit - 7.5mm
Runout Service Limit - 0.10mm
