I have an acura 2000TL with original Navi DVD
Database version - 2.0502.09.071306
Software version - 2.11.29

I recently bought the Black DVD Navi update from Acura version 2.9
I updated however the version numbers updated as follows

Database version - 2.1004.16.081911.143.01 etc
Software version - 2.11.39

Shouldn't the version number reflect 2.9 somewhere ?
I'm assuming this is still ok, but just want to check

 

I'd say it's fine. You can tell if it updated by the voice. The original navi had a nice young lady to tell you what to do.

I updated my navi to this 50 year old smoker grandma who was wheezing through every word. Very disappointing
