does anyone else notice this...
I notice that in the my '99 TL that the outside temperature gauge seems higher than it actually is. For example, if it's around 40 outside, my temp reading on the dash might read 46.
Is this normal?? Does it affect the climate comntrol system?
Any feedback is highly appeciated!!

Mine has been correct for the past 2yrs of owning the car.
The day I got my car 12/28/99 it was 32 & 31 degrees this was the coldest day that we had sofar. Every radio station was givng the temp that day thats all they were talking about. Since having the car we have had days in the single digits & it has been correct. But always remember that the car need to be moving for a good reading. The outside temp guage has nothing to do with the climate control system. The car has a sensor for the inside temp.
