Does anybody have Comptech silencers in their Comptech mufflers ????
I just installed my cat-back system on my 2002 TL-S tonight and it's a hair louder then I expected. Don't get me wrong it sounds real good. I love the way it sounds when you leave from a stop sign or stop light and at freeway speeds. I do however think that I might like it alot more if it was just a tad quieter. Does anybody have the Comptech silencers in their mufflers and how quite does it make them. The car seems to have a little more pick up and mid range since the exhaust was put on. Maybe it doesn't but it sounds and feels like it does. If anybody has the inserts or has heard them please let me know what you think. Thanks

I have them although I haven't put them in in a while. They for the most part, make the exhaust sound very stock. WOT is noticeable but they definitely get rid of the droning sound at low RPM.

I have them. They are great. I have the resonators removed and they make teh sound just about perfect for normal driving (little bit of a droan) but allow it to be loud for the weekend. If you have the stock res's in they will make it nice and quiet
