my tail light on the left keeps on burning out. I've checked the connection which i don't think it is because the actuall bulb is burned out. i've already gone through 4 bulbs on just the left side in the past four months. any body got the same prob. or am i just crazy

Don't be cheap and get crappy bulbs. Spend a few monre bucks for some decent ones.

Replace all the old bulbs in the circuit at once. that way you can ensure they are all of the same impedance.

I usually buy the polaris if they have it. I've never gone over 3500mi w/out an oil change. always 92/91 sometimes if i feel good some 110 at the pump for $5 a gal. always Mobile 1 /till they changed their formula now it's valvoline full synth. I don't ever cheap out on my baby since when i first got her back in feb of 99 after a 4month waiting list. I don't think it's the bub because the right side is fine, it's just the same stupid light on the left side.

Do you have clear tails or stock tails. It might be your harness

Been happening to me to akira... I had the left bulb in both tail lights kept going out... I checked the wire harness and I replaced both bulbs 3 times... But ever since I changed all 4 bulbs, none have burnt out...

I had that exact same problem, but mine went out like 6 or 7 times and i kept taking it back to the dealer and they kept on replacing them then 2 or 3 days later the damn thing would go out again, so finally they replaced my wiring harness and i never had that problem again!!

I got my guages on Ebay from procarparts.com... Paid $30 bucks for them... And they are 8 color guages... They look sweeeet...
