Do it Yourself.. save the money and ur time

I leased my 2003 TLS in June at Springfield Acura, I had to buy a package for oil changes $100.00 for ten.. good deal right.. wrong.. I tried to make an appt for an oil change.. and they said it would take 1.5 months to be able to get it done.. BS or what.. do it yourself.. and save your time and money, and forget about the unnecessary aggravation

I wanted to get my SRS light reset by them and they told me 1 month. I told them to forget about it. They are nice people, but they really must be backed up. or...I don't think something small like an oil change or out of warranties are priorities to them.

It's in your manual look it up.. I heard all you do is press some buttons here and there.. Than again your Light is a SRS one and not a Check Engine Light so That light might actually mean something..

my dealer in Arizona AKA - BELL ACURA

I call them and they ask whats a good time for me, not me asking if they have any spots open. Everytime I've taken it in the next morning.

They do what they need to do, wash it and I'm checked out of there in an hour. Plus they serve free Starbucks coffee and cookies....he he he.

Best dealership EVER!!!!!!!
there is a crappy Acura dealership about 5min away from my place but I would rather drve the extra 20min to go to BELL ACRUA

Incorrect. You CAN reset the SRS light yourself, but you have to jump a connector...I did it already when I caused it to light from playing in the fuse box.

Search for "SRS reset" on the board.

Why would you mess up with SRS if you're car is still under warranty??

I would take the car to the dealer & have them do it under warranty.

My car is already out of warranty...I put on 60,000 miles in 2 years. They were going to charge me $79.99 just to diagnose the SRS light. Just found out my friend works at Springfield Acura as a tech. and he's gonna fit me in without an appointment and will do it for free. (After hours of course... )

That's ridiculous. Did they know you have the coupons when you called? Try calling an Acura regional rep and see what's up.

resetting the rsr light is only hard if you dont know which wire block to remove and used. you take a paper clip and open it up into a 'U'. the wire block is under the dash just to the left of your knee as you drive. the two wire block is yellow and located just above a bigger yellow block of wires. pull the two wire yellow block out of the fuse box holder and put the paper clip in the opening to make a connect between the two wires. turn on the ignition as soon as the rsr light goes out, pull the paper clip out. when the rsr light comes back on you only have four seconds to put the paper clip back in to connect the circuit, then the rsr light will blink twice and reset. put the wire block back in the fuse box.
i have a more discriptive thread some where, they were supposed to put it in the FAQ.
