I don't really use it, but of course it's good to have one...

My DJ friends still use tape for their demos, and sometimes I use the adapter for listening to Minidisc (when my friend got some nice music on MD and he got the MD walkman)

LOL

Cassette in the TL is an antique in a modern car. An audio-in jack on the head unit would have been more useful for hooking up a MP3 player.

You guys remember the 8-track?

Yes

I have over 300 cassettes dating back to the early 80's, most of the music are not available on CD. So yes I thank Acura, Nissan and many other manufacturers for providing that option for us. Most of you guys don't know what a cassette look like, LOL.

books on tape

I went through a phase where I was trying to improve myself while driving to work. During those 2 days, I listened to German tapes to better my foreign language skills. So yes, I've used the deck. Now I just hang my head out the window and swear at the MF'ers that are clogging the highways. (I just got in the office after another 'refreshing' commute)

Yes, but...

like so many other, only for books-on-tape. Actually, that should be book-on-tape. We listened to "Great Expectations" during our vacation this spring....

Personally, I like to listen to Steward Smalley in the morning, "I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and dog gonnit, people like me." It makes me feel good all over

I thought THAT was the ash tray! What's a "cassette"? It looks like a mini reel to reel from the old sci-fi movies. My grandpa says people used them for playing music?

Yes I use it now & then I also have tapes that date back in the late 70s & 80s this was my youth. I would tape music from the radio & play. I have boxes of tapes down in the basement. I didn't get a CD in my house until 1990 . My old 90 Accord I would tape from CDs at home & play them in the car. When I got my 94 Accord I did the same thing until 1995. I had an Alphin changer put in the trunk of the 94 Accord. I have alot of tapes that are mixes of good music thank goodness for the cassette player.
I am going down to the basement to pull some tapes out now.

Thumbs up

I threw out all my old tapes because of the internet + MP3. All the oldies can be downloaded from cyberspace.

Yes but if you have tapes with a party or club mix what can new technology do. I have plenty of tapes that I mixed myself.

Cassette in the TL? Never tried it... I don't even know if it ever worked!

My cassette deck at home was so hardly used that when I tried playing it, the belt had disintergrated from lack of use!
