Honestly, it doesn't matter which car comes with how many stock horsepower and how many pounds of torque. Because if you start modifying, it's usually the guy with the most money thats going to be faster, or better, or whatever people want it to be nowadays.

New tires typically do not peel as well as broken in tires. I also own a Buick Regal GS with 280 ft. lbs torque, stock. I could peel without much effot with that car, but when I bought new tires for it I noticed that I could not get any peel action going for at least 2,000 miles. I think it has something to do with the surface of the tire. Other factors include road surface, humidity, weight, etc.

I peel out all the time, even with light touches of the accelerator. Especially now when I turned off the VSA...

Or go to the moblie home parks down the street and try it in some of those colored rocks residents use for landscaping for thier front yards. Get both tires on the rocks, e-brake on, VSA off, 6 grand in N, drop into D5.

Quickly now you don't want to hang out there too long, because the resident will be a coming out thier front door.

PS.. have you tried putting some racing stripes on the side of your TL??
