Do you like to drive at with Fog light on all the time

I find that I use foglight all the time. Even during night when i turn on the low beam, and I still have to use fog cus the light is so wide and I can't get used to seeing just the regular headlight. WIth fog it really fills out the whole area ahead of your car.

Do you drive with fogs on all the time at night?

Yeah I do drive with them on all the time at night. I mainly do it because I think it looks better. The fogs do not really do anything for my vision. I also converted the fogs to HID so that they match the headlights. Because of the look this gives my car I occasionally rid with just the fog and parking lights on durning the day.

At night, 99.9% of the time they are on. Unless it is a really quick short drive I dont bother firing them up.

I always have it on at night. Yes the look is nice, but I figure extra light is always good for the road.

I drive with them on 100% of the time at night, too. I keep the button set so that they turn on with the low-beams. Not because they help a lot (HIDs are enough) but because it looks much better, IMO.

I have the fog-mod done and during the day I have them on when the parking lights come on. At night, however, it is a different story. The fogs go off and the hids come on. I don't really like using them when there is no fog around. but if I am travelling at triple digit speeds, they come on just because you can't have enough light during those situations.

I leave my switch always active, so when the low beams are on the fogs are on.
Looks good, and the wide close light is helpful on neighborhood streets.

People who drive with their fog lights on all the time are usually a pain. Why? Because their fog lights are almost never aimed correctly and shine everywhere except where they're supposed to. Particularly irritating are the SUVs which sit higher.

Fog lights, like the name implies, are designed to be used for when there is fog. Most of the time they are very blinding ... too bad they do not ticket you over here like they do in Germany for driving with your fogs on. The same goes for people who drive with the rear fog lamp on when there is no fog - annoying!!!

The off-road lights on top of some 4x4 also look cool, but are blinding as well and serve a purpose ... to be used when off-roading.

I have fog lights on all the time. They do not blind the oncoming traffic as fog lights aim low and wide.

our foglights really don't do that much. at least i dont think so. they point real low and make the light just wide on the floor. anywho, i yellowed out my fog lenses and they just real cool now. and makes the ground shine yellow.

I too have the fog light mod done.

During the day if I am on a two lane road for an extended period of time, I turn on the fogs with the park lights.

At Dusk: I roll with the parks and fogs on.

At night: Fogs and HID's on all the time. I feel the fogs add light to the front and sides, plus it looks good. Gives the car a wider look.

To increase the life of your fog bulbs, never start or turn off the car with them on. The surge of power will shorten the life. I simply leave my fogs and parks on when I park but I make sure to turn them off first, turn off the car, then turn them back on before I exit. When I return to the car, they come on to light up the way, then I get in, turn off the switch, start the car and turn on the lights. I know it's an extra step, but it will increase the life of the bulbs significantly!

I don't use mines just because they still have the stock bulbs in them and the difference in color is just so unattractive to me.

Interesting. Some people leave their fog lights on because they think their car looks good when they're on. 'cept they can't see the lights when they're on and 99 out of 100 people who can see the lights probably think the driver is an idiot for driving around with their fog lights on all the time.

I have my fogs and low beam on everytime im on the freeway. The low beams are on all the time even during the day. At nite both are on. If you have your fogs installed correctly and pointed down then you will not blind anyone. I have my lights on all the time so drivers and even pedestrians are aware of where I am and how fast I am comming at them!

I have raybrig fog lights on my 99tl it looks pimp they aren't hid's but they about match the color because the glass is tinted blue allready. I have them on at night when I remember I find that it fill up more room in front of the car and makes things easier to see. They saved me from running over my neighbor's dog a couple times

I keep mine off 90% of the time. The few times I had them on, people would flash their high beams at me. It doesn't help unless the road is pitch black out in the country.

You know crack kills right? If you can't see someone fog lights in the day esp if they are driving toward u then you have vision issues. If people could see the lights then sir they wouldn't make day time running lights now would they. And I can bet you a mil that people don't think people who roll with fogs on in the day are idiots. Do they think the people who have Day Time Running on are idiots too? Come come now...

I believe he was referring to the driver of the car, who thinks it looks good, but is inside, therefore he can't see it.

I drive with the Fogs on with the HID's at night only. I'm not a huge fan of rolling with your HID's on during the day just so people know you have HID's. I'm looking into converting the fogs to HID's b/c they look ten times better.

No, but they get a flash of your HIDs when you go over a little bump in the road and they think your brights are on cause they see 4 lights. It's just not worth the hassle.

The hassle of people flashing their brights at me - it's not worth it just to have the fog lights on. It's my personel preference.

...yup, to each his own. i just flash my highs right back at 'em when they do that. they've never seen HIDs before? where the hell are they from? just show 'em that you don't have your highs on by showin' 'em what your brights do look like, no big deal.
