Do you guys all keep the front liscence frame?

It is not required in my state. But I wonder if it is better to keep it their or not.

Good thing about it is, when some stupid people back into your front bumper, you have the plate frame as the protection. (And two screws to let them remember not to do it next time)

Bad thing is, the frame scratch the bumper, so when you take it off, there will be permenant mark on the bumper. ALso dirt builds up around it.

What are your guys' choices?

If it isn't required then leave it off. I leave mine off and it's illegal to not have front plates here in IL.

I wouldnt mind doing that, but the only problem with that is when its illegal, it gives cop a reason to pull you over and then to ticket you on a million other things, or be an ass to you. As it is, everytime I drive by a cop I get their attention, and I know he's thinking "how can i pull this a hole over" so i dont want to contribute to his desire. But none the less, I still agree it looks a hell of lot better!!

Get into an accident recently? :p Try filling the holes with bondo and then get it painted. If money is an issue then use some touch-up paint.

not bondo. bondo doesnt go well with plastic. they make a "bondo" type material for plastic though that you could use

I just removed my front one. There is a small scratch, but I think it will buff out. It's illegal in my state. I also have a tinted red cover on the back which goes well with the black TL-S and red tail lights.

i'd love to take mine off, that front plate sticks out like a sore "richard". so damn fugly!!. but like the other guy said dont want to give the cops any more reason to pull me over, because they look for anything to do just that, Bastages. i do notice many people in my state driving around without the front plate.

Just invert the license plate. I post pics a few days back. I think it looks better with a inverted plate than no plate.. It gives it more of a meaner look...

I haven't had a front plate for ten years. Haven't been pulled over since 1988 for anything.

Yes, it's required where I live but the cops around here don't consider it a high priority violation.
