The engine splash shield detached partially at my car and started to drag at ground and got destroyed. Can I drive without it for years or should I bring new one from U-pull? As it felt down it partially detached fender liner too and tire made hole in fender liner. I can address it with duct tape.

 

I have been driving mine without one for about 4 years (same thing happened), I live in Southern CA so it very rarely rains and there is no winter salt on the road. If I lived where there is a lot of rain or somewhere where road salt is used, or gravel roads are common, I would replace it.
