DIY Wetsanding Headlights
Alrite I decided to make another DIY for wetsanding headlights with pictures this is my first DIY so go easy on me guys
Supplies Needed:
-Sandpaper ( I used 1000,1500, and 2000 grit) All depends on how bad your headlights are
- Scratch X
- Buffer (UDM will work)
- Bucket of water
Okay heres a before picture of the headlight its not really to bad..
Now to the sanding
I sanded with the 1000grit for about 10 mins 1500 10 mins and 2000grit for about 8 minutes.
After the sanding your headlight should look even worse than before
Heres a picture of it in process
and what it looks like after
But no worries on that put some scratch X on it and now begin to buff everything out
After about 1min of buffing this is what it looks like
Just keep on buffing and everything should buff out
Heres an after pic of the drivers side headlight I did before taking the picutres, I didnt get to take a picture of the passanger side one since it got dark but you guys get the idea
You can polish them after to if you want, thats just something im leaving for another day

Also fold the paper to a manageable size so that you can control the area your sanding better.
