can someone tell me what a good price for ding removal would be?

i got this guy who fixes dings and he is going to fix a total of six dings (4 on the driver side 1 on the passenger side and 1 on the rear passenger trunk) for $100 and a few bottles of wine...

is this a good price?

 

If he's talking about Paintless Dent Repair then that would be an excellent deal providing he's not drinking the wine while working on it. That usually goes for about $80-$100 each ding from what I was quoted about four years ago

If he plans on painting it then something doesn't smell right. The original paint and clear-coat would probably cost more than that alone.

 

Paintless dent removal pricing differes by the tech who is doing it. But 4 dings, and 2 bottles of wine? Thats an swesome deal.

 

A couple is two and a few is three or more...depends on how much the wine that you are giving costs.

 

Well, I dont think he would be giving a few bottles of wine @ 100 each.... For the amount of dings he is doing, thatssounds like a very fair price.

 

I personally wouldn't bother with door dings. You'll have to live with those anyways.

I had the paintless dent removal on a ding I had on my passenger rear door. Cant even tell it was there.

 

My dealer charges $75 per panel.

 

Pour the wine on the dings, they will be gone. Or Pour the wine in your mouth, those dings will be gone for at least a couple hours

 

i was gonna give him some nice bottles but i might just give him "ok" ones...
