Diffuser pics?
Does anyone have pics of their headlights without the diffusers? And I'm not talking about the ones in the corners (the orange ones you remove and replace with clear ones). I'm talking about the square piece of plastic that the xenons pass through. I remember seeing one guy with it...he had a black TL (99-01 obviously) and the pics were some kind of club pics that he said he didn't have time to finish up...but I thought the blacked out headlights sans diffuser was interesting. I'm curious as to how they look and if I can just retrofit these A6 projectors I have laying around.

What does the beam pattern look like with it removed..I'm really curious to see pics...How expensive/difficult/long does it take to do a projector retrofit? And I've hearrd about a yellow line at the top of the cutoff with projectors, is there a way to keep it all blue?

Here's a picture of MisterMeHoff's CL-S with projectors retrofitted in:
Not my cup of tea, but if you're interested www.HIDTech.com did his, and can probably retrofit one into your headlights as well.
There's like 1 or 2 more pics of the projectors on my website here: Link

I agree, if it weren't for the huge dark gaping hole, I thin kit'd be more attractive, but it IS cool nontheless...I wonder if it improved the clarity at all? If I end up doing the retrofit, I'll prolly want to replicate that Audi look...thanx for the replies everyone...anyone have some decent pics (day and night) of either diffuser-less headlights or projectors with the lights on? Thanx!
