Differences in Bumpers

I hit a damn racoon last night, and the thing tore up my front bumper. I"m looking online, and it seems there are 3 different types of bumpers.

1. Dealership.
2. One that is CAPA certified.
3. One that is not certified.

My question is, does it really matter? I mean plastic is plastic... I mean yeah there are different strengths of plastic... How does one know what they are really getting? Forgot to mention none of them are painted...

My : Go the OEM route. You ensure proper fitment, and you know it'll look "right" on your car. Of course, as with any body part, you have to get it painted. One other option is going to the junkyard and seeing if there are any bumpers available for your car, in the right color!

New OEM, used OEM, that should be ur only choice. Fitment and quality don't come close with aftermarket.
