I recently picked up a 2002 TL-S ABP w/ navi, including body kit, spoiler, ebony vent trim, ebony steering wheel, for 36,500 out the door. (thats after tax) wondering if i got a good deal.

One thing I learned about bulletin boards, never ask if you got a good deal b/c all you need is one person to say that they got a lower price and you feel like sh!t. Do a search on prices and come to your own conclusion.

If you want honest answers, what did just the car cost? From there you can figure out the add-ons just by searching the parts on this site...... BTW, welcome to the family and great choice on color

 

You got a better deal than I did--and mine didn't include the wood steering wheel.

BTW--I noticed that it didn't take you long to "upgrade" your car!

Tuesday, finally got the car that I always wanted- 2002 Aegean Blue TL-S with navigation, and spoiler. no body kit... I might get that later on. So it came out to be $34,400 after taxes. I believe I got a really good deal


Can't wait till it comes in, had to special order cause tat Aegean color was not in stock and they are manufactoring in on Nov 10. Should arrive around the 20th...


How do the body kits usually go for, the after market ones?

At this point, does it really matter? I mean, there's nothing you can do about if you didn't. All that really matters is that you got the ride you were looking for - so enjoy!! Regardless if you paid more or less, as long as your stoked - you got a great deal!!

Sounds like you got a good deal....as long as you are happy thats all that matter's in the long run. It's a great car to drive!!!

Don't beat yourself to death on the price. There is always going to be someone who received a better deal. With the options you received you'll be smiling for many miles.

I agree; as long as you are happy, it doesn't matter too much how much you paid (unless you were raped, and it doesn't sound like either of you were). I wish I would of know about this site before I bought mine, though.

I didnt purchase it at Bay Area. I got the deal at a dealership in Philadelphia.

You should shop around and bargain, dont settle for 1st deal.

The answer is YES! It's the best value in it's class, and compares to cars costing 42k. Don't worry, just enjoy. I bought mine when they weren't coming more than $500 - 700 off. I'm still happy.
