I searched on www.autotrader.com and so far haven't seen any black TLs with black interior.

Are they very rare?

 

NBP with the black interior was available for '02-'03 TLs and Type S's ... I was told they were more popular than NBP with Parchment Interior (which is what I have).

 

What does N stand for in NBP? Night?

I thought that the TLS and the Type S was the same thing.

NBP = Best Color EVER! with Black Interior looks so good IMO

 

Our old RL was NBP with black interior. Was a fun car, I miss it a lot. I could skid through corners all day long!

 

My baby is NBP w/Black interrior...I've seen a bunch of them on the road here in NY.

 

IMO, the black interior in the 2nd Gen TL (especially the Type-S with its blackwood) is :yack: It is far too dark and cold looking. Sure it looks sportier than the parchment interior, but it doesn't look one bit luxurious. Please don't flame me...

 

I have an 03 Nighthawk Black Pearl TL w/ Black leather...I LOVE IT. It is sporty looking, but I think it is luxurious as well. It's my style and I LOVE IT! I think the lighter interior is too "old" looking for me...sorry for anyone who has it. I'm only 22. I need a "young" lookin' car

 

The NightHawk Black TL interior would not be called black it is Ebony

Yeah sorry I meant plural like TL's and TL-S's ... Shoulda probably said TL-P's

I personally went for the Parchment interior because I like the look with the "realistic" looking wood and also in the summer its a heck of a lot cooler.... I wouldn't mind the ebony interior now that I see the scuff marks on my leather occasionally (nothing that some Zaino Leather cleaner won't take off, but it probably wouldn't show at all with the ebony).

 

'03 TL-S Black on black is the way to go. Car is sexy as hell........

Had a decision to make on the lot when I bought my TL-S
Nighthawk Black with Ebony or Nighthawk Black with Parchment.
Althought the parchment was nice and I could have lived with
that.... if ..... there wasn't that black on black TL-S sitt'in beside
it. Just couldn't get that car out of my mind with the black wood
trim , so I bought it and had the blackwood vent outlet panel
and meter panel ( around instrument cluster ) installed
along with the blackwood steering wheel. Blackwood trim
and black leather gives this car a luxurious look.
This car has got class with muscle and I get lots of looks.

 

I think the most rare color with black interior is what i have WDP TLS with ebony (black) interior.
