Go back and speak with the SERVICE MANAGER in person
DO NOT WAIT until the bill is written and done.
Mention the acura court case where it was determined that some models including some years of TL, have odometers that read 5% higher than actual mileage.
The Court intended the tranmission 109k miles to be real miles.
That would mean 114.4 indicated would be 109 actual. This has been used by azine members and it worked for full coverage. A few miles over alleged limit- what garbage

Warning to others- as we tell members time and time again. IF you supect any trans problem get to the dealer while still under warranty.
Even if they dont find the problem that day- its on the record as having an issue.
When it fails after warranty period- they look in the records and say- well you tried to tell us and we tried to find it- this is Goodwill Warranty case for sure, Sorry for your loss Sir

ALWAYS speak IN PERSON with the SERVICE MANAGER only

Present yourself as a nice person who loves their Acura- and this failure -just after warranty limit on a well know failure issue- and it puts you in a financial situation you cant deal with right now.
Then mention acurazine and how many dealers are able to get Goodwill coverage from the Regional Acura Rep up 99s with 144k miles getting replacements free!
(and they want to dick you over 1000 miles that dont actually exist- not hapening dude)

Mention the odometer reading high issue the court decided on
BE NICE- they are just people- and service writers are following a script and trying to make money/sales for their bonus check
