Designing new CD Changer connector

I need a little help with my setup. As of now, I have a computer with touchscreen, GPS, DVD, etc already installed in my car. Since I wanted to keep the stock stereo and integrate my system with the Bose, I've been toying around with how to input the audio to the stereo. The tape adapter pretty much sucks and I'm not sure if I want to add the complication of splicing into the EQ lines (not happy with having to create an audio switch for stereo to computer).

The Blitzsafe adapter is a great idea, but I'd like to take it a step further. Since the AUX input to the Bose HU is already a digital signal stream and the computer can output digital on the SPDIF output, it would make sense that I could design (possibly with the help of an external microcontroller) a module that would mimic the Acura/Bose CD Changer protocol.

I know it can be done because Blitzsafe did it. I've had my Acura service friends show me all of the stereo manual references and none of them even mention what the protocol would be named....

... Does anyone have any information on the CD Changer protocol??? If I get this working then I'd post all of my code/schematics whatever so other people can make it too.

Thanks in advance.
