I have had my car a year now and I knew about this vertical dent on my front bumper...I noticed it right after I removed my front license plate, its not bad but noticeable...I have never hit anything with my car, and there is no imperfection in the paint job...Also, i dont see how the plastic bumper could even dent...My question is: Given that I have never hit anything before, is my front bumper replaceable by acura??? Would this be off the wall if I complained about something like this??? Thanx for your help, im sure all you would enjoy a new front bumper...Shyne

 

If you took your car back the same day or the next day, you can probably argue but not after 1 year later. How about if I go to MacDonald's tomorrow and complain to them that 6 months ago, I slipped and fell in their bathroom and I still have shiat on my pants and my ankle is still sprained???? No dice man.

No go on getting the dealer to replace it.

 

You have dented plastic? Now that takes some skill I don't know about replacement, but maybe part of your bumper got melted somehow rather then dented. If something hit our bumper hard enough to dent it, there should be other telltale signs of damage (ie chipping, scrapes, cracks).

 

exactly diego, what i was getting at was that the bumper was had that defect before they painted, which would give me grounds to badger the *******s about it...Shyne
