I bought a set of deer whistlers and I was about to install them on my 2001 TL, just below the grille. It looks like they were built into the design of the molding! If you look at the molding under the grille, on each side there is a rectangular hole and if you follow it back, it's the same design as the deer whistles you can buy. Anyone know for sure if they are built-in deer whistles? (By the way, they work for us here in the Northeast.)

 

I highly doubt that they were designed for that...probably just luck
