Deck questions

**2000 3.2TL, stock

i am gonna be needing a more powerful/updated deck pretty soon now to power my audio system i will be putting in. Also to play burned cd's and what not as my stock cd player does not play them. What i want to know is if the dealership (acura obviously) can provide me with a a more powerful updated deck. As i am looking for the deck to run my audio system, play burned cd's and if it can be able to display CD text.. i guess the main question is can i go to Acura to get a deck to satsify my needs and still maintain A STOCK look....thanx

i'm not sure any of this is possible as i am unsure if Acura makes their own decks or what not, i would appreciate any help thanx

sorry for the long post for what may be a simple question

I think you can replace your deck (2000) with a newer deck (2002 or 2003), but I don't think any of the decks show the CD text. I would first try the junk yards and other places before going to the stealership, er, i mean the dealership....

Ummm no. You can get a '03 deck with the in dash 6 disk changer and it will play burned cd's but no RCA outs or anything like that.

I think Aftermarket deck would be the way to go also.

Yes, aftermarket is the way to go, especially if you are going to be upgrading your stereo. However, if you DO want to stay with the OEM stuff, PM me because I have the stock 6 disk changer deck from my 03 CL...I don't need it anymore because I installed an Alpine screen/nav system.
