Hey guys jw for those of you who have done this already. How much did it cost for you to remove the "A" off the trunk? I'm thinking about doing it soon. I have had my car for 5 months now, there won't be any marks or anything behind the A yet right?

 

nope wrong....the "A" has 2 screw holes behind it

 

yeah you can remove all of it except the "A" because its held in place by 2 pilot holes.... so your looking at bondo + paint.

 

yeah that's what i mean. i have a friend with an rsx-s who got it done at a shop. I want to too but he forgot how much they charged. I have already taken off the ACURA and the 3.2TL Type S and now i want to take off the A too.

 

Hey all, I am new here and found this forum simply to discuss this topic. I bought my new TL Type S in December and was so happy with the look of the car. Did not like the all the badges, never did like them on any of my cars. Besides, Acura is NOT sponsering me. I am a proud owner, just not to the point I want to advertise for Acura. Got everything off the rear, left only the Type S and the Acura emblem. Well I got the emblem off but put it back to cover the holes. I can't believe someone has not come up with some replacement symbols/badges? I am currently searching the site to see if I have missed something, but I would much rather have an SS, Type S, superman emblem, or??? anything other than stock! With the fish symbol being so popular I am surprised that is not an possiablity (not desired for me but?). Anyone have anything to share or am I going to have to make something?

Speaking of holes, what if I want to remove my spoiler? What am I looking at? I think the car actually looks better without it........maybe.

 

why would you want to? spoiler gives it a classy sporty look.

 

I don't like the look of the spolier either, i think it takes away from the sleek look of the car.

Possibly trade your trunk with someone with the same color who wants one.
