Cool Debadge Question

I got back from the carwash last night and notices that the A badge at the end of Acura had been twisted upside down. I went to straigten it up and the thing just feel off. I was not planning on debadging my car but really had no choice since I did not want to drive around a ACUR. The rest came off pretty easily and I used Goo-Gone to get rid of the residual glue. However if you hit it in the right light you can still read ACURA in the paint. Is this just due to the fact that the rest of the black paint has been exposed to the weather and this wasn't? Would waxing the area take care of the problem? Also I noticed that the Acura symbol was loose too but then say it was on with two screws holes, so I did not want to remove that. Is there glue or what not on this that I should mabye have replaced? I like the look of the car without the ACURA on the back!

All the badges are held on with 3M doublestick tape + the "A" symbol is held on by two screws. Go to any auto parts store and buy the tape for the emblems.

Claybar that area where the outline of Acura is, then a coat of polish/wax and you're good to go. There are a lot of folks who have debadged their cars, gives it a seeker look.
