I went to the dealer today to get my inspection done. While I was there, I asked him why my car idles low when starting a warm engine.

1) They said that my Air Flow Control Valve needed to be replaced. That was why it was idling so low.

2) I failed my inspection because when I cleared my headlights, I took the reflector out. I was like, this is BS. Last year, they passed me and this year, they fail me? Anyway, he said I have to put it back in or else I cant get passed. My inspection is now expired and I'm screwed. I think I will try to take it to some other place. Since the dealer knows my car, they know what I did. If I take it to some Joe Shmoe guy, he probably wouldn't have known there was a reflector in there as long as I have my orange bulbs in them.

Does anyone know of a place in Long Island, preferably Westbury, Hicksville, or Garden City that might pass me??

dude go to brooklyn..... they will pass you without anyproblems....
i went to do my inspection and all they did was look under my car and gave me my sticker.. .. only $10.... cant go wrong with that..:p

I know of a couple of places in Jamaica that shouldn't hassle you about your lights!
