Dead Tranny #1

GOD DAMMIT!!! at 14467 miles 1st tranny is already dead!!! ANYONE want to WELCOME ME to the DEAD TRANNY CLUB? hahahahaha!!!! This really sucks! my baby had no symptons, no signs of tranny failure, no nothing! and WAM!!! all of a sudden check engine light and VSA light comes on! now it it has to sit in the shop for about 3 weeks because they backed up!!!

are there any other tranny's out there that are better than what the dealer ships are puttin in? i want that extra $$ to get it fixed right.

Sorry to hear about the tranny. I saw on another thread that Acura has "fixed" the issue with the replacement trannys. The people who received the most recent trannys and have put significant miles on them (some under very harsh driving conditions) have commented that the new tranny looks like it may last and is holding strong.

You're the first 2003 that I've heard of with a dead transmission! Guys, are we 2003 owners going have to face the same problems as 1999-2002 owners?

There are worse clubs than being a part of ours... I have been a little while now and have had no issues what so ever with my new tranny...
