Post Dead Pedal / Foot Rest

Never saw this question so here it is. Does anyone else, besides me, think that the dead pedal or foot rest should be slightly higher? Has anyone installed an aftermarket dead pedal to bring it a little higher? If so, what brands? Maybe it's only me because I'm only 5'-6". Could it be that my left leg is shorter?! Anyway, I think it'll be more comfortable if it is slightly closer to the seat.

How about adding a 2x4? (Just joking. No offense.) I haven't heard of accessories like that.

Yeah, I'm sure that there is some "booster" that you could create to add a little height. Maybe some type of padding that you could design. A trip to the hardware store might be a good idea.... But be careful, too much and you might not be able to depress your e-brake all the way down (should be really tough after 2 clicks anyways if it's properly adjusted).

That is a good question when I got my TL last year that was one thing that I missed.
I had it in the 94 Accord EX 5sp that I traded in for the TL. The first couple of weeks with the TL I was saying to myself no dead pedal in here.I think they thought this is a luxury car& no clutch pedal so no dead pedal.

I know this is a custom thing. I was just wondering if anyone installed an aftermarket pedal like Razo as a dead pedal. I'm pretty sure I saw some company selling dead pedals. As for the 2x4 answer it's something that's worth a try - perhaps a 1x4 just to get the right height. But don't you guys feel it's not the right height?
