I saw a 99-01 Tl today with daytime running lights i was like wtf, i thought that wasnt an option in the US.

 

maybe he was from canada did he have canadian plates??....or he couldve bought it in canada and drove it over to the us......or he did a special mod by re-wiring something to have daytime running lights

could be or they did the little daytime running lights mod thing who knows i dont really like them anyway

 

i think theyre kinda cool, gave the car a nice look, i didnt eve recognize it as a tl at first then i was like wait a sec, cool

 

lol yea from a little distance they dont look like a TL i guess it looks ok but only if the TL is dropped with a kit .....are you gonna be at HIN in Atlantic City???

 

It takes quite a bit to modify an american TL with DRL's... need to buy a bunch of crap.

I wired my fog lights to come on with the parking lights and leave it on all the time. Simpler mod and looks pretty cool :-)

first of all the lights were not HIDs, and they were only coming from where our high beam is, they are not bright, but look good, because remember in our cars if the high beam comes on so do the low beams

Sorry I don't have pictures yet But I just made my fog lights double as daytime running lights. I purchased a kit that makes the fog lights come on to 75% intensity when ever the car is running. it doesn't affect the normal operation of my head lights or fog lights.
