Dawn

Tried this in some other threads, but it must be buried. Those of you who use Dawn to wash your car and strip the wax, how much Dawn do you recommend in the water? I know too much is not good.

Finally a nice weekend day to do a good wash. Thanks.

it doesnt really matter (it also depends on the size of the pail your putting it into) using more wont hurt it any more than just a dab.

Just a good squirt will do the trick with most buckets. I believe they are about 2.5 gal. You don't want too much dawn or you will rinse forever to get it all off.

You can check to see if you have enough dawn by just putting your hands into the bucket after mixing and rubbing your fingers together. It should feel like there is some lubricating action goin on but not to the point where it feels like oily.....hope this helps. When your rinse it off your hands it will also determine if you have too much or too little dawn in the water.
