hey guys,

recently I noticed that my dashboard only rattles when the car is very cold, but as soon as the car would heat up, it would be back to normal, and there would be no noise. Now I'm finding that even when the car is warm, I still notice a rattle coming from around the middle of the dash. Can you guys tell me if any of you have been successful in having the dealer repair this problem for you?

let me know what you guys have been able to do about this problem, I do remember reading that a lot of forum members have this problem also.

its the damn AC, its happened to me.
just give it a wack it should b fine
lol, it worked once, take it to the dealer they need to move something it the engine and its fine.

 

It's got to have something to do with the cold weather that we've been having here in T.O. Mine just started doing the exact same thing you described. One thing I noticed (after searching hard for this rattle) was the the p.side airbag in the dash seems a little loose. I.E. I can move it side to side about 1/4". Does anyone know if this is normal?

 

The airbag thing doesn't sound normal, I'd get that checked out.
As for the other creaks and squeaks, it's normal when it's cold out. I know every morning I have to deal with it but after the car is warm, it's goes away. If your car is warm and it still does not go away, I'd have it checked out.

 

my dashboard was rattling a lot and the dealer tighented up the dashboard vents. its starting again and off i go back to acura.
