hey man thats nice. just wondering, becasue i want to do this, how do youhave your carputer set up with your car. does it come on when you start the car? and is the resolution good enouph to read text and stuff. what kind is it and where can you get one? thanks

Standard MicroATX board with a Celeron 600 so it stays cool. Mini tower case, 150watt power supply, on a DC to AC inverter. Does not turn on with the car, i did at first but decided i did not want it on all the time.

Since im using a video card with TV out, the picture quality is lacking, but you jack up the font size enough in windows XP, its just fine. Every now and then i gotta break out the on screen magnifier...

I had all the parts laying around, so i figured what the hell...

CLS has brushed aluminum... I took out the wood pieces and had them painted Satin Silver Metallic by a body shop...

Yeah it was very well done actually... I had a local shop custom make it... $59 for something that should have cost $200 IMO... The design is actually very simple... Im almost thinking i can replicate the thing and distribute it :P but either way they did a great job and didnt ask for much...
