damn tranny just blew
damn i think i jsut blew my tranny...my car engine light was blinking and the TCS was on and my engine was like hella slowing down..does this mean i jsut blew my tranny..?? cuz yeah i need help..ohw much does it usually cost for for me to put in a new transmission in my car..?

What's the mileage on your car? Mine has just kicked the bucket as well and I need to bring it in tomorrow morning to Los Gatos Acura. I test drove earlier and the car seem to hold the gear and I will try to drive it to the dealer.
If I have to guess, we rebuilt tranny may go around $2-3k.

Well was the D5 light flashing? Was the engine revving even though you were in drive? If not, it sounds to me like you've got an engine problem. Transmission problems usually don't cause blinking CELs, which means the computer cannot prevent engine damage.
