Damn Squeaky Seats

Man, the more I read these threads the more I become insane with my car. I just noticed the recently that I have also become a victim of the squeaky driver seat. For those who have this issue or have already delt with it, is the repair done free from the dealer. Or is this something I'm going to have to pay for. I have a 2000 TL at 65k but I have an extended warranty up to 3 year/36k. Any info is a plus...thanks guys!

Check out TSB 00-014.

Here it is:

This might help the problem. Take it to the dealership with you.

Insert that without the spaces.

thanks guys, i wish i could take of this before the holidays but i guess it'l just have to wait. i'm taking my car on a road trip to new england. i'll just have the volume knob turned further to the right i guess. for a honda product, it seems to me that it was assembled at a GM plant. kinda disappointed that the TL feels like it's built with loose bolts. I had a 91 Legend coupe i was sporting around for a bit before the TL, and it was rock solid during 12 years of use. i had a manual tranny too, so the car definitely got alot of use acura just doesn't build like they used to.

My seat used to squeek when a few months old, turns out the seat squeek was actually my seat belt buckle squeeking. A little spritz of Wd-40 once cured the problem completely. Try it out, and see if that helps.

I have a TL 02-S. I have the squeeky seat problem too and just never new what it was. When I first bought the car the sales guy said it was probably the sun roof. They put some tape around it and supposedly fixed it. On my way home it started squeaking again.

I took it back to the dealer.. The sales guy told me to just turn the radio up and to ignore it. I took his advice... (I know I should have never listened to him!!)

Do you guys think my 02 would have the problem as the 00 TL's?
