My car was raped, it is no longer a virgin!!

I was driving normally this afternoon, and another Nissan Sentra just cut into my lane. I jam on the brake ABS went off. BAM!!!

My frong bumper and left fender is dented, as well the lens of my left headline was scratched. Her front right door was GONE! He could still close her door but it was pretty bad!

Well, not one got hurt which is good. But still I am depressed!!! Don't know why I am not pissed off, but anywayz I am sure the insurance will deal with it and it won't be my fault!!!

I will go to another TL bro Mike's bodyshop tomorrow. I am sure he will do a great job on getting my TL look like a virgin again...

Damn. Sorry to hear about that. Just the other day I almost got into one like yours. I was approaching an intersection on a left turn only lane when this guy in a Diamante wagon in the middle lane decides to get on my lane without signaling or checking his rear. Shit! Slammed on the brakes, ABS was going off, and I simply aimmed for that closing space between the center divider and this jerk's car. I was lucky to stop in time. Couple more inches and I would be in his door and maybe into the divider too.

Thanks people..... I was at the race track for a lapping evet April 30th. Damn, before I could share that story with you all, I have to share my accidents with you all...

hope my insurance won't go crazy next year, since it's not really my fault....

 

sorry to hear that.. i feel you... in the past few days i think i've encountered the most incompitent, non-common sense, no patient, people ever!! if i had to write our what all happened with in just the past 2 days it would be definitely a novel.. to summarize:

1. got continuously honked at down the whole road twice, and honked at 2 more times but not as long
2. almost got hit from the front by an audi who thought he was MR. SPEEDRACER.. forgot to check his blind spot where my car was... and another time almost from the back truck swerving lanes nearly missed clipping me had to push the gas to aviod that one
3. nearly got side swiped by an 18-wheeler
4. nearly got side swiped again by an old car... he tried to hit me twice.. i came up side by side with him and he swerved into my lane.. i broke and as i gained speed again as i got side by side with him again.. he then again swerved into my lane.

how big are the dents? how fast were you going when it happened?

 

I was doing about 50km but I only had about 10 meters of distance to stop my car...

The dent is pretty bad..... I guess I need to replace my fender for sure... Maybe the bumper can stay........

Well, the only thing I can do is to have faith in Mike...

Sorry to hear that, i just got into an accident myself recently, but it was purely my fault. I rear ended a Lexus GS300, he got 2 and i swear to gawd, only 2 lil scratches while my hood was popped up, front side fenders bented and mis-aligned, sigh. My insurance paid $600 to fix his scatches and around $3k to fix mine. Can't believe he won't settle if i paid to fix it for him without going through the insurance company. As long as you are ok, thats what matters, in another couple years when you buy a new car, you won't even remember about your tl, but in the meantime, i know it hurts cuz it feels like its your baby.
